Complementary Expertise. Shared Purpose.
Consult4impact combines expertise in impact investment and stakeholder engagement with practical experience in governance, risk and organisational improvement. Together, we help purpose-driven organisations connect ambition with the partnerships, structures and decisions needed to achieve meaningful, lasting impact.
Our Purpose.
C4i exists to help organisations use their capital, governance and decision-making more effectively to create lasting social and organisational impact.
- Selecting clients, partners and projects: C4i uses its documented due-diligence process as part of onboarding significant new relationships. This includes an assessment of Ethical, Purpose & Impact Alignment, alongside governance, reputation, financial and other relevant risks. The process allows us to proceed, proceed subject to conditions, or decline a relationship where there is a material conflict with C4i’s purpose or responsible-business commitments.
- Governance and procurement: our advice should help clients make better-governed, more responsible and more effective decisions, including how they select, manage and hold suppliers and partners to account.
- Impact investment and use of capital: we aim to help organisations consider not only financial return, but the wider value and impact created through the deployment of money, reputation, relationships, expertise and other forms of capital.
- Our own progress: we will periodically review whether our client choices, assignments, business practices and public commitments remain aligned with this purpose, and use our impact and governance processes to identify where we can improve.
Our Story.
Consult4impact grew from years of professional experience and a shared ambition to help purpose-driven organisations turn good intentions into meaningful, measurable results. We were enjoying a sabbatical when an opportunity arose to put that ambition into practice through our first contract, and we took it. The consultancy brings together complementary expertise: Tanya’s in impact investment and stakeholder participation, and Tim’s in governance, risk, commercial assurance and organisational improvement.
Our People.

Tanya Humphreys
Tanya is the founder of Consult4impact and advises investors, boards and mission-driven organisations on impact investment, sustainable capital allocation, stakeholder participation and governance. Her experience includes helping to develop impact investment at Macmillan Cancer Support and supporting early- and growth-stage organisations to strengthen their impact case and ESG foundations for investor scrutiny. She sits on Macmillan Cancer Support’s Investment Committee as well as recently joining Alzheimer’s Society’s Innovation Advisory Group. Her qualifications include the CFA UK Certificate in Impact Investing, the CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate and the University of Oxford Private Markets Investments Programme.

Tim Humphreys
Tim advises organisations on governance, risk, commercial assurance and organisational improvement. At Macmillan Cancer Support, he spent over five years leading complex transformation and partnership programmes across NHS, local government and voluntary-sector systems, with responsibility for governance, risk, assurance and programme budgets exceeding £10 million. Through Consult4impact, he was initially engaged by PDSA to support urgent recontracting before co-leading a wider commercial transformation across high-risk and high-value supplier portfolios. His work included redesigning procurement governance, strengthening supplier and contract management, introducing proportionate commercial controls, and developing the commercial approach for a strategic wholesaler procurement valued at £20 million over three years. This combination of partnership leadership and commercial transformation experience helps clients turn complex requirements into practical, accountable solutions.
Working Together
Some engagements call for specialist input from one of us; others benefit from our combined perspective. We shape our involvement around the organisation and the problem, bringing together the right expertise without unnecessary layers or a standard consultancy formula.
