Concerns & Complaints
C4i welcomes feedback and takes concerns about our conduct, services or business practices seriously. Concerns may be raised confidentially by emailing us. Our Stakeholder Grievance & Complaints Procedure specifically explains how concerns are handled, including confidentiality, escalation and independent review where appropriate.
Responsible Communications & Content Policy
Our Responsible Communications & Content Policy sets out how C4i approaches accuracy, evidence, transparency, ethical content, inclusive language and the responsible use of AI in our communications.
Climate Action Plan
Our Climate Action Plan sets out the practical steps C4i is taking to understand, measure and reduce its climate impact, including business travel, procurement, technology, energy use and supplier decisions. It also sets out how progress will be reviewed over time.
Responsible lobbying and political activity C4i does not currently undertake lobbying activity or make financial or in-kind political contributions. If C4i engages in lobbying, advocacy or public-policy activity in future, it will: undertake such activity only where it is intended to contribute positively to society or the environment and is consistent with C4i’s purpose and responsible-business commitments; base lobbying and public-policy positions on reliable evidence and, where relevant, appropriate scientific evidence; not make financial or in-kind political contributions unless specifically considered and approved by the directors and consistent with this policy; not offer, make or facilitate bribes, improper payments or other corrupt practices; ensure that any intermediary, trade association or external organisation acting on C4i’s behalf is required to act consistently with these principles; identify and consider potential reputational, ethical and compliance risks before undertaking lobbying or advocacy activity. The directors of C4i are responsible for implementing and enforcing this policy. Any proposed lobbying or political activity must be considered and approved by the directors before it takes place. Compliance with this policy will be reviewed through C4i’s Annual Impact & Stakeholder Governance Review, normally once each year, and sooner if C4i begins material lobbying or advocacy activity. Any actual or suspected departure from this policy will be considered by the directors, with appropriate corrective action taken where necessary. Stakeholders may raise concerns about C4i’s lobbying, political activity or wider business conduct through our Stakeholder Grievance & Complaints Procedure. This policy is approved by the directors and will be reviewed annually.

Equality, Inclusion & Fair Treatment Statement
Our statement sets out C4i’s commitment to equality, equity, inclusion and fair treatment across our workplace, client relationships, consultancy work, suppliers, partners and wider stakeholder relationships. We have set out the practical actions we are taking to embed justice, equity, diversity and inclusion across our business. Our latest progress update summarises what we have completed and what we are continuing to develop.
C4i Human Rights Commitment C4i is committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights in the way we operate, make decisions and work with clients, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders. Our approach is informed by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights; the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the wider International Bill of Human Rights; and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. C4i seeks to avoid causing or contributing to adverse human-rights impacts through our own activities and to consider human-rights risks where they may arise through our business relationships, supply chain or consultancy work. In practice, this means we aim to: treat people with dignity, fairness and respect; oppose forced labour, child labour, discrimination, harassment and other forms of exploitation or abuse; respect freedom of association and recognised employment rights; consider relevant human-rights risks when selecting clients, suppliers, partners and associates; consider how our advice, recommendations and consultancy work may affect workers, beneficiaries, communities or other stakeholders; raise and address concerns where credible human-rights risks or impacts are identified; use proportionate due diligence and stakeholder engagement where relevant. Human-rights considerations are incorporated into C4i’s wider governance framework, including our due-diligence process, stakeholder engagement arrangements, grievance procedure and responsible procurement activities. Concerns relating to C4i’s conduct or potential human-rights impacts may be raised through our Stakeholder Grievance & Complaints Procedure. The owner and directors are responsible for overseeing this commitment and reviewing it periodically as C4i’s activities and business relationships develop.
